Jimmy Carter: Terrorists Lack “Defense” Against Israel

Just whose side is former president (and honestly, I use that title loosely) Jimmy Carter on in the War on Terror? Carter summarizes his recent trip to Paris, Syria, and Lebanon on his Carter Center site.

In that summary, Carter appears to express sympathy for Hezbollah in their fight against Isreal:

The general showed us a graph of the many flights of Israeli planes over all parts of Lebanon, averaging about a dozen each day. Neither Hezbollah nor the Lebanese Armed Forces have any anti-aircraft weapons for defense.

Is Jimmy Carter pleading for a defense mechanism/system for a terrorist organization–Hezbollah–for use against Israel? Well if we’re to use his words as the basis for an answer I’d say yes.

Jimmy Carter is a disgrace to the state of Georgia, the United States, and the Presidency.
