Obama Administration’s Transparency: We’ll Tell You What We Want You to Know
President Obama’s Press Secretary refused to acknowledge a U.S. predator drone strike in Pakistan. Ordinarily I wouldn’t make this a big deal because I understand the need for silence on some military actions, but after Obama campaigned on transparency in all facets of government, and after bragging on Wednesday about his executive order on the Freedom of Information Act, I just can’t help but put this clip up:
I guess President Obama quickly found at that you can’t be fully transparent on military actions. Will the media start referring to Obama’s administration as secretive as they did so often with Bush’s.
