The best functioning totalitarian State is built on those who have never known anything but the State. — Book of Common Misery
Yesterday, I was talking to a group of young, college students working as servers at an eatery my wife and I frequent. I asked them many questions about what was going on in their country. They were clueless. One, who has an infant son age eight months, was unaware that the failed economic stimulus, cap ‘n trade and ObamaCare will completely destroy the country that he grew up in. I told him that his young son will, in twenty years when he becomes part of the work force, be saddled with an impossible tax burden. None of my listeners, all government-school graduates, were concerned about what was going on. Already they have accepted that Big Government is a way of life; that Big Government will protect them cradle to grave; will protect the next generation and the generation after that. I asked if they knew what a trillion dollars was. They didn’t. I said currently America is at least twelve trillion dollars in debt. Still, they had no concern. I asked myself how this could be happening. If the youth of this country is the backbone of the future of this country and they are ignorant of the present do we stand a chance? The answer is: NO. Then I though of the parallels between Second Hussein and Hitler. Both understand the necessity of using youth as a cornerstone of destroying and then taking over the nation; any nation. Hitler did it through war; Second Hussein is doing it through destruction of the culture and economy.
This week, President Second Hussein kicked off the “United We Serve” program; a service led by the government Corporation for National and Community Service. The effort is aimed at getting youth to serve in communities confronting problems in the areas of education, health, energy, the environment and community renewal.
Second Hussein said, “…community service is one way Americans can make this country stronger.”
Sept. 11 is designated by Congress as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Thursday, May 07, 2009: Today the President submitted to Congress his FY 2010 budget request for a Corporation for National Service.
In Erich Hoffer’s True Believer, he illustrates the characteristics of person(s) who become ‘true-believers’ in a cause, good or evil: undying allegiance to authority; unquestioning acceptance of the movement; and a willingness towards self-sacrifice.
How was Hitler able to demand, even in the face of certain defeat, a pathological allegiance from his military and citizenry? Hitler offered promises, increased economic rewards, up-lifting propaganda, and guilt-free acceptance of whatever was done as fuhrerprinzip (leader principle). The strongest part of any following is a brainwashed core whose blind allegiance is formed from birth on; a generation of youth, totally loyal through their indoctrination in whatever is deemed important to the leader. In a speech Adolf Hitler stated that he would have his Third Reich long after the present generation had died away. He understood the value of twisting the minds of the young to do his bidding. When monies for fighting his war were low, a Europe-wide Youth Rally was held, sarcastically called, “Baldur’s Children’s Party” after Baldur von Schirach, the leader of Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth). The military considered it a wasted, but Hitler was investing in a generation that, even after his death, would do his bidding.
Baldur: “You further told us, my Führer, that this youth should be brought together not only by enthusiasm, but also by discipline and order. We have worked for years to fulfill your command, which today it is realized before you. We are proud to be worthy part of your great National Socialist movement.
“We feel even more than others, my Führer, that we are bound to you by your name. Your name is the youth’s happiness! Your name, my Führer, is our immortality!” ( September14, 1936, Hitler Youth Day Rally)
March 25, 2009, Congress Passes Obama Youth Bill known officially as: the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act (volunteerism meaning coercion and education meaning indoctrination): “…a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.”
Now, you see.
