Chairman Obama Cuts Nuclear Arsenal, Weakens America, Media Covers Michael Jackson’s Memorial

Yesterday, Chairman Obama further weakened America by agreeing to cut our nuclear arsenal by approximately one-third. This weakens America. Period.
Now a logical, reasonable person would expect our media to be covering such a move, but no, they’re not. What, then, is more important than a decision that affects our national security and our ability to defend ourselves? What deserves the media’s attention?
Answer: Michael Jackson’s memorial.
Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNN Headline News–all of the major cable news channels are providing seemingly non-stop coverage of Jackson’s public memorial. I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s unbelievable to me the extent to which we worship celebrities.
Look, I get it, the man was popular. He made some decent music back in the day, but do we really need wall-to-wall, laudatory coverage of him? Of course not! Is it newsworthy? Sure. But the media have gone far beyond simply reporting the story; it has become downright hero worshipping.
It is absolutely disgusting to see how far we have devolved as a nation.
