Fox News Asks Is Political Correctness to Blame for Ft. Hood Attack, Then Proceeds to Act Politically Correct
Fox News has finally, Geraldo Riviera notwithstanding, is finally coming around to my thesis that the Ft. Hood attack was allowed to happen as a direct result of political correctness.
The question posed to its readers asks: “PC to Blame at Ft. Hood?”
What’s interesting to me, however, is Fox News is insinuating that PC is to blame (which is mostly correct, but don’t leave out radical Islam), yet read the following paragraph from the story on its site. See if you can spot the PC nonsense in it.
The claim comes as the squabble grows among officials in different branches of law enforcement and the military over who knew what, and when, about Hasan’s leanings toward faith-inspired violence, and amid charges that “political correctness” prevented officials from taking pre-emptive action.
Did you find it?
I’ll help you out. Notice how the story characterizes the violence it mentions–”faith-inspired.” Why not specify which faith? I’ll tell you why: It’s politically incorrect to say that it was Islam-inspired violence.
Way to be PC Fox News. Way to be hypocritical.
